It followed a class discussion on war memes and the use of humor to process political reality. As part of the assignment, students were asked to create memes expressing their thoughts and feelings about the current war with Iran. Maia’s meme reflects the contrast between the tense atmosphere and the efforts, even in Tel Aviv, to hold on to a sense of normalcy, togetherness, and escapism amid the uncertainty.
