Weekly courses: Up to seven working days before the course begins you can cancel upon paying 250 NIS cancellation fee. If you cancel within seven working days before the course begins till one day before the first lesson, you receive an 80% refund. If you cancel within one day before the first lesson till the second lesson of the course, you get a 40% refund. After the second lesson of the course, you are not eligible for a refund. ​ Intensive Courses: If a student wishes to cancel their participation, they must notify This is Not an Ulpan by email within two weeks of registration and no less than seven working days before the course begins. We do not give refunds if not cancelled within this time frame. A fee of 250 NIS will be charged for any cancellation. Private lessons: A package of private lessons is valid for one year. After buying a package of private lessons, there will be no refund in case of cancellations. Notification of a cancelled or postponed lesson must be 24 hours before the time of the lesson. If notification of a cancelled or postponed lesson is given less than 24 hours in advance, the lesson will be charged in full. Sham Ze Lo Ulpan courses (organizations): A lot of administrative and pedagogical work goes into creating material and finding teachers for off-site, specialized courses. Thus, the cancellation policy is as follows: Two weeks before the course begins- no charge of cancellation. Within the two weeks prior to a course beginning- 20% fee upon cancellation. Once the course starts- full payment of course

LENGTH: Course consists 24-80 learning units depending on the course (1 learning unit = 45 minute lesson). Most classes do 3 learning units per learning day. STUDENT AMOUNT: The minimal amount of students per class is 5 (below this amount we save ourself the right to cancel the course and give a full refund) and the maximal amount is 15. DELAY: In case not enough students register we might delay the class starting date in up to two weeks. In case we change the date, a registered student is allowed to cancel his/her participation without penalty. LEARNING MATERIALS: Learning materials are included in the price. FORCE MAJEURE & EMERGENCY POLICY: We reserve the right to move classes online, postpone them, or make other necessary adjustments in response to unforeseen events beyond our control, until it is permitted to return to courses in our classrooms. Including but not limited to pandemics, war, natural disasters, or other emergency situations. We will not be able to offer refunds if courses move online due to instructions set by Pikud HaOref/ Home Front Command.

In order to ensure a safe space for our students and teachers, from the understanding that a safe space is an essential condition for learning, we reserve the right to refuse the participation of any person who has standing accusations against them or violates our community principles and/or ability to hold a safe space.

We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend your access to the service without notice and liability for any reason, including if in our sole determination you violate any provision of these Terms or any applicable law or regulations. You may discontinue use and request to cancel your account and/or any services at any time. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the foregoing, with respect to automatically-renewed subscriptions to paid services, such subscriptions will be discontinued only upon the expiration of the respective period for which you have already made payment.

The services and all materials therein or transferred thereby, including, without limitation, software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music and all Intellectual Property Rights related thereto, are the exclusive property of This is not an Ulpan. Except as explicitly provided herein, nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such Intellectual Property Rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works thereof. You agree and consent that the uploaded/transferred content may be publicly displayed at the website.

You agree to indemnify and hold This is not an Ulpan harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against us by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any of the services offered on the website.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall This is not an Ulpan, be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, This is not an Ulpan assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to or use of our service; and (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.

You agree to receive from time to time promotional messages and materials from us, by mail, email or any other contact form you may provide us with (including your phone number for calls or text messages). If you don't want to receive such promotional materials or notices – please just notify us at any time: notanulpan@gmail.com.

These Terms, the rights and remedies provided hereunder, and any and all claims and disputes related hereto and/or to the services, shall be governed by, construed under and enforced in all respects solely and exclusively in accordance with the internal substantive laws of Israel, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all such claims and disputes shall be brought in, and you hereby consent to them being decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Tel Aviv. The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is hereby expressly excluded.
