WHAT’S GOING ON IN PALESTINE, AND WHAT SHOULD BE

Presentations by Pre-intermediate Arabic students

During our pre-intermediate Arabic course, What’s Going On in Palestine, students engaged with key issues related to the lives of Palestinian communities, including identity, history, and rights.

In the final lesson of the course, held in Tel Aviv during the fall semester of 2025, the teacher, Nagham, asked the students to prepare presentations based on their own research on issues facing Palestinians and to suggest possible solutions.

Imagine a New Future

بدي أتخيل عالم، فيه الناس من الشعب الفلسطيني ومن الشعب الإسرائيلي بيقدرو  يعيشو مع بعض بمساواة وحياة هادية مع احترام وكل حقوق الإنسان. 

في أغنية حلوة ومشهورة John Lenon Imagine وهو بيغني فيها عن عالم بدون دولة، بدون دين، بدون ملكية وبدون جوع. هو بيتخيل مكان مع أُخُوِّة. ما حكى عن حرية بس هادا مفهوم.

صعب علي أصدق انُّه الناس في فلسطين وإسرائيل، خصوصاً بعد الحرب الأخيرة الرهيبة،  ممكن يتنازلوا  عن القومية، عن القدرة على استخدام القوة وعن إحساسهم بأنهم الضحية الوحيدة. 

حسب رأيي عقلية الناس لازم تتغير كثير عشان العالم يكون أحسن.
