Juha’s tales did not remain confined to the Arab world; they also spread into Persian and Turkish traditions, and some versions reached popular literature in parts of Europe such as Italy. Abbas Mahmoud Al-Aqqad notes in his book “Juha: The Laughing and the Amusing” that Juha is not a single, clearly defined historical figure, but rather a cultural symbol in whom peoples' wisdom, satire, and life experiences accumulated across generations.
