  • Our booklet is pre-arranged in page pairs (spreads) optimized for easy home printing. All you need are standard A4 paper sheets in your printer, scissors (or a paper cutter), and a stapler.

We highly recommend opening the PDF file using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

    Step 1: Print Settings

    1. Open the downloaded PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

    2. Open the print window by pressing Ctrl + P (or Cmd + P on Mac).

    3. Under the Page Sizing & Handling section, click the Multiple button.

    4. Configure the parameters exactly as follows

    • Pages per sheet: Select Custom and set it to 1 by 2 (1 horizontally, 2 vertically).

    • Page order: Ensure Horizontal is selected.

    5. Under the Orientation section:

    • Select the Portrait option.

    • Check the box for Auto-rotate pages within each sheet (this ensures the pages maximize the A4 sheet space with no awkward margins).

    6. Double-Sided Printing Settings:

    • Check the box for Print on both sides of paper.

    • Select the option: Flip on short edge – this is critical so the back pages don't print upside down!

    7. Click Print.

Step 2: Cutting (How to turn A4 sheets into a booklet)

When the pages come out of the printer, keep them in their exact order. Stack them neatly just as they were printed.

    1. Each A4 sheet in your stack is now divided into two halves (a top half and a bottom half).

    2. Use a ruler and a paper cutter (or scissors) to slice a straight line exactly through the horizontal center of the stack (at the 14.8 cm mark).

    3. You now have two stacks of A5-sized strips.

    4. Assembling the Booklet: Place the bottom half stack underneath the top half stack. (Thanks to the pre-arranged layout, your booklet's chronological page order will now align perfectly).

    Step 3: Folding & Binding

    1. Take your newly combined stack of pages (the sheets are now A5 size).

    2. Fold the entire stack together along its vertical center (from right to left, just like a standard English book).

    3. Crease the fold line firmly. You now have a perfect A6 booklet where the pages read seamlessly from left to right!

    4. Binding: Open the booklet exactly to its center page (pages 14 and 15), and drive 2 staples directly into the fold line using a standard stapler (or stitch it with a needle and thread for a crafted look).

    Your booklet is ready!
