About the Event
This interactive workshop invites participants to look at how Hebrew functions around gender and sexuality and imagine an expansive linguistic space for queer and feminist expression. Through a mix of discussion, games, and hands-on practice, we will learn about linguistic movements such as multi-gendered Hebrew, explore the historical and political contexts of queer slang, and engage with queer Hebrew texts like poetry and songs.
This event is open to all Hebrew learners, no prior advanced knowledge needed.
