About the Event
Join us on Tuesday, August 5th at 19:00 - 20:30 (Jerusalem time) for an online workshop led by TINAU Hebrew teacher, Nattan Dobkin, to learn in accessible* Hebrew about concrete poetry.
Concrete poetry is a form of poetry where the visual arrangement of words on the page is just as important as their meaning, creating a piece that’s both literary and visual art.
In the workshop, we will read several examples of concrete poetry in Hebrew, explore what makes it unique, and examine how form influences the meaning of the written word. At the end of the session, we’ll practice writing concrete poetry together.
* the workshop will be accessible to people with intermediate to high levels of Hebrew
