About the Event
русский ↓ Filmed during the 2014 war in Gaza, the documentary places viewers inside an ambulance in the midst of relentless bombardment, following a team of young paramedics and volunteers as they race through shattered streets to rescue the wounded. Shot with urgent intimacy and unwavering presence, Ambulance offers a raw, first-hand account of survival, solidarity, and the moral weight of witnessing.
Before the screening, This Is Not An Ulpan will lead a short interactive activity exploring key vocabulary from the film, inviting participants to engage with the language that shapes how stories of war, care, and survival are told.
The film will be screened with English and Russian subtitles.
