Description
In every culture, nurturing the minds of children stands as a paramount value. Through stories, songs, and plays, young ones grasp their identity and cultivate values. Jewish Israeli culture echoes this sentiment, having produced numerous iconic books and songs tailored for children. Welcome to a class that promises to guide you through the vibrant phases of children's culture, from the mobilizing stories of early statehood to the more diverse and individualistic tales of today. Reading, singing, and even clapping become our tools. Get ready for a journey into the heart of Jewish Israeli culture! Just like planting seeds, stories transport children to magical realms, songs resonate with cultural identity, and plays offer rehearsal for life's grand stage. Our spotlight is on those timeless stories and melodies that have captured young hearts across generations. This isn't your run-of-the-mill class. Brace yourself for an adventure where we'll embrace the silly side of life, just like kids at playtime. Yet, amidst the laughter, we'll also delve into weightier subjects—all while conversing in Hebrew. This course will also ask students to unpack their childhoods and experiences. What were the cultural messages transmitted in the media you consumed? Each student will be asked to do a presentation on their childhoods in Hebrew. *** Early Bird Price - 990 NIS - Until 10/09 Regular Price - 1090 NIS - Until 01/10 Late Price - 1190 NIS - Until first lesson of the course
