The best stories come from our own life, but how can we write them? Writing our own narratives is writing, or re-writing, our histories. Our point of view expresses the place we come from and how we want to share it. In this course we will explore our writing style through a tour of our own memories and experiences. Every session we will attempt writing small pieces in different formats such as prose, poetry, short stories and more. We will use these structures to understand what we are thinking and how we would like to express ourselves by writing in the language we are learning- Hebrew. Writing is a process that can be a window to a world of alternative self-expression. By writing and rewriting and then reading each other's texts, we are opening ourselves up and are exposed to new understandings of how the people around us think and how we as ourselves think.
