Be yourself in Hebrew! This course will give you tools to express yourself in spoken and written Hebrew by building your confidence, creativity and skills. We will dive into the nuances of expressing ideas, opinions and emotions, telling stories, and using different types of Hebrew depending on the context - from slang to more formal language. We will work with a range of media based on the interests of the students, these could include articles, podcasts, discussions, letters, WhatsApp messages, videos… and more! We will cover relevant topics and situations: life, society and politics in Israel; relationships; family; work… from small-talk in the corridor to deep meaningful conversations over the dinner table! Please note: this course will include many speaking, writing and reading activities - please come ready to be an active participant, to share about your life experiences and to listen to others. We will work together to make the classroom a comfortable and fun space to take risks and build confidence together. This course is for learners who are beyond the basic conversational level and can communicate in Hebrew in the present and past tense and form their own sentences.
