The Feminist Laboratory January 19 - March 9 | 24h

  • Starts Jan 19, 2022
  • 990 Israeli new shekels
  • JLM, TBD

The Feminist Laboratory is a space for us to explore what gender and patriarchy mean in our lives and in the societies around us. Through this participatory structure, together we will build the syllabus and methods to suit what and how we want to learn, giving space for our feelings, for intellectual enquiry, and for strengthening language skills whilst communicating on complex topics. From the personal to the political, global and local. For example, topics could include: Current events, history, cultural issues and artifacts, gender issues in particular segments of Israel or Palestinian society, sexuality, boundaries and consent, important women in Israeli society and politics, the LGBT community, feminism and gender in Jerusalem... Methods could include: Text study, discussions, tours and trips outside the classroom, sharing circles, multimedia, presentations, group projects... In short: a space for us to explore what is important to us, in the way that we want to. Come join us to make it happen!
