TINAU’s Beginners course teaches the basics of Hebrew to complete beginners (as well as those who have mastered a few words already!), giving you the tools to feel good speaking and learning this new language. We will get straight into communicating in Hebrew, as well as learning to read and write, and understanding the fundamental grammatical structures. By the end of the course, you'll have learned vocabulary and sentence structures for simple day-to-day interactions and tasks such as introducing yourself, polite requests and shopping. Students will get to enjoy the TINAU style of teaching which is flexible around the interests and needs of the learners, and includes interactively experiencing the new language through songs, games, role-play conversations and more. We know that learning a new language can be tough and anxiety-provoking, so our teachers will support you through the difficulties with kindness and creativity. Previous knowledge: No previous knowledge necessary Learning outcomes: Foundational ability reading and writing Hebrew in block (typing) and cursive (handwriting) letters Basic communicative skills and vocabulary for daily interactions, “small talk” with simple sentences, how to get by as a learner Key grammatical structures, including: present tense, question words, prepositions & conjunctions (from, and, to, etc), possession, noun-adjective agreement, infinitive verbs. *** Early Bird Price Starts at - 2400 NIS - Until 14/04 Regular Price Starts at - 2600 NIS - Until 05/05 Full Price Starts at - 2800 NIS - Until first lesson of the course We have made a small change in our pricing structure and are now offering a sliding scale in order to give you the opportunity to donate 100 or 200 shekels when you buy a course. This money will go toward the TINAU scholarship fund and emergency support for TINAU.

Cancellation Policy
Weekly courses: Up to seven working days before the course begins you can cancel upon paying 250 NIS cancellation fee. If you cancel within seven working days before the course begins till one day before the first lesson, you receive an 80% refund. If you cancel within one day before the first lesson till the second lesson of the course, you get a 40% refund. After the second lesson of the course, you are not eligible for a refund. Intensive Courses: If a student wishes to cancel their participation, they must notify This is Not an Ulpan by email within two weeks of registration and no less than seven working days before the course begins. We do not give refunds if not cancelled within this time frame. A fee of 200 NIS will be charged for any cancellation. Private lessons: A package of private lessons is valid for one year. After buying a package of private lessons, there will be no refund in case of cancellations. Notification of a cancelled or postponed lesson must be 24 hours before the time of the lesson. If notification of a cancelled or postponed lesson is given less than 24 hours in advance, the lesson will be charged in full. Sham Ze Lo Ulpan courses (organizations): A lot of administrative and pedagogical work goes into creating material and finding teachers for off-site, specialized courses. Thus, the cancellation policy is as follows: Two weeks before the course begins- no charge of cancellation. Within the two weeks prior to a course beginning- 20% fee upon cancellation. Once the course starts - full payment of course.
